How long has it been?

I've been curious about a couple things lately... First, I've been oh-so curious about how this whole weblog thing works! Never done this before, so whomever is reading this is officially now my own personal guinea pig!! ^_^ (Thanks for reading, guinea pig o'mine! heehee! Now THIS is power!) Well, I guess you aren't technically my guinea pig unless you leave a comment so I know you were here, huh. Hmmmm. I'll have to work on the whole domination thing.

Secondly, I was chatting on the RS chat thing here (another cool feature) with a few fun people, and we were talking about how long it's been since we had bid on a cel. Answers varied from a few minutes to a few months. I happen to be the slacker who hasn't won anything in an auction in a few months. Not since early April actually. Am I losing the cel fever?? Not that much even interests me... and what DOES interest me is so far out of my cheapskate reach that I just sit back and watch the yen fly high into the ozone layers. I don't get worked up about it because I know there's no way I can be a serious contender. And since this fact doesn't actually bother me much, perhaps I'm just cooling to the whole deal. Perhaps I just need to stop watching the new CG shows... sketches for the shows I'm looking for are either non-existent or so very very expensive that I can't even afford the copies. *sigh* Better stick with my G Gundam fetish! ^_^ (Actually, I've gotten so picky with what I like in GG that I can't afford that one either!! @_@)

So, back to my original question... (yes, there really was one way back there somewhere!)... How long has it been since you've bid and won a cel? Can anyone who still actively looks at sites like this say that they've gone longer than 3 months without getting one? Am I losing the collecting fever, or am I just a cheapskate slacker?? (haha! Perhaps I shouldn't ask this question if I dont' want the painful answer written out in black and white! ~_^)

Just curious! and I'll be even more curious to see if anyone even reads all this drivvel! Where are my guinea pigs???
